ELPHI   is a married couple from Holland named Elly and Philip van Lith, which explains the name Elphi. They work together as musicians for six years now. They came to Kefalonia in 2006 to see if good live music was needed during the summer season; and it was ! At first Elphi did a try-out for a couple of month. But now they live on Kefalonia, and they perform during the whole summerseason, as well in wintertime for the Greeks.


ELLY VAN LITH does most of the singing. After 34 years she quit her job as a financial controller (Loreal) to give it a try. She loves cats and dogs, but singing is her second "thing". She has sung for many years now in various music styles, starting with musicals and acting in a hobby theatre group. Later on she did the lead vocals in the band "Down the Drain" together with her husband Philip. You'll sure appreciate her warm voice and pleasure in singing.


PHILIP VAN LITH had classic pianolessons for six years and became a professional keyboard player in 1979 after playing for six years in Apple Pie. With lady singer MARIBELLE, candidate for the Eurovision Song contest in 1984, he performed for three years. During this period he learned everything about performing, technical matters, television- and studio-recording (8 singles and 1 LP). Then, with the drummer and bass-player, he started a very successful rock-band and toured for eight years through The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. In 1991 he started performing only with the guitar-player (Peter Buitenweg) who lives in the same town. Later on a singer / guitar-player was added and this trio performed for almost sixteen years! In May 2006 they said farewell to their fans, so Elly and Philip could start their ELPHI adventure in Greece, and here they are !
